24/04 : French meat French.

Today, R🇪🇸 had a class mate over. Turns out, he was French. They had to do a presentation on the American coup in Iran in 1958. This guy is my age, give or take. He is from Sciences Po Lille and is doing a full year exchange in the Hebrew University. We’ll keep I touch.

Tonight we are going to Jaffa street to have dinner and to have a few drinks … but more importantly we are going to see S🇪🇸, the last quarantine flat mate who left the flat a few days earlier. Let’s hope for a peaceful evening without riots. LOL

The evening was nice. We went to eat meat Kebabs in the city, very good restaurant and the waiter gave us free shots of Anis. It is not even close to an alcohol I liked but at least, the shots put me in the mood. Sergio joined us at the middle of the meal.

We then went to get some drinks on the outside of the bar. There, we were joined by A🇺🇸, the American, and R🇫🇷. R🇫🇷 was on the same plane as I when coming to Israel so we did most of the trip together. It was the first time I saw her since we both got into out respective quarantines. After that, we headed to a club recommended by A🇺🇸. Worst deal ever. We had to pay 50 shekels and there was like 10 other people in the club, there was no ambiance at all. It is important to say that this was a Saturday night. Not only is it the evening after Shabbat but it is also the evening before Sunday, the first day of the week on Israel. Much less people than the other night. There was 2 floors to this club. The upper floor had so much more ambiance. I don’t know how they did but R🇫🇷 and A🇺🇸 managed to enter. About 20 minutes after that, M🇺🇸, J🇪🇸, R🇪🇸 and I got rejected as in they wouldn’t let us in for whatever reason. So the guys and I went to get some fries. Finally, we then slowly but surely went home.
